Sennen is located in West Cornwall, surrounded by a beautiful coastline, and has arguably one of the best beaches in Cornwall. This old fishing village is located in a remote part of Cornwall and just behind it is Land’s End the furthest westerly point in the mainland England. Sennen is still a small village to date but has everything you need to enjoy a day out, around the village it’s full of local independent stores which are supported by the locals during downtime in the winter.
Loe Beach is located in South East Cornwall and situated in the River Fal. This sheltered shingle beach is fairly safe for swimming due to not being exposed to the Atlantic and its well known for watersports in this area. This beach also has great parking on the back of the beach which is perfect for those people who aren’t wanting to walk too far for a beach. There is also good fishing off the rocks at dawn and dusk. This beach also holds small boats which are launched here from time to time, it also has a boat hire which you can hire kayaks, sailing dinghies and rowing beach at the watersports center.
Mallet’s Cottage is based in South East Cornwall in the beautiful location of the Roseland Peninsula. Mallet’s cottage is a mysterious abandoned hut along the south west coastal path where many walkers, hikers and runners enjoy a sit down and view across into the english channel. Mallet’s cottage, an old fishermans hut has also stood the test of time, standing tall since the 19th century and as you can imagine has seen many stormy days.
