A popular family beach, Holywell Bay is a lovely 1 mile-long stretch of golden sand that sand dunes back onto it and is sheltered by towering headlands making it the perfect place to relax with the family and enjoy the peace that comes with Holywell Bay. The beach is known for its two islands which create an impressive backdrop, this has been featured in various TV shows but the most noted one is Poldark.
Porthgwarra Beach is another West Cornwall gem. This beach is set in a secluded area of the Cornish coastline and largely owned by Lord St Levan of St Michaels Mount. At low tide there is a small beach with an array of rock pool and cave systems but history tells us that Porthgwarra has a rich fishing heritage meaning and you can see that as you enter the cove but now only a few fishing boats remain and work regularly from Porthgwarra.
St Levans Well is located in West Cornwall near the beautiful beaches of Porthcurno beach and Pedn Vounder beach the two top rated best beaches in Cornwall. St Levans Well is a mysterious well along the south west coastal path where many walkers, hikers and runners enjoy a sit down and view across or down to Porthchapel beach and sometimes you’ll spot the local sea kayaking club.
