Port Isaac is a small fishing village built into a cliffside with interesting buildings surrounding the port. The narrow and winding streets are full of white-washed old fisherman cottages made from traditional granite, slate fronted houses which many are listed as of historic importance. Port Isaac now is a beautiful port full of life, still has a small working fishing fleet but is now seen as a place that tourists flock to see the beautiful harbour and walk the narrow pathways around.
Polperro Beach is located in South East Cornwall and situated in the village of Polperro. This beach is known in one of the most picturesque fishing villages filled with beautiful whitewashed cottages. Polperro beach is a small sandy beach positioned just outside of the harbour wall on the east side as it sits underneath the cliff edge and harbour wall it is well protected from the wind, although it is limited by size and during high tide the beach dissappears.
Mallet’s Cottage is based in South East Cornwall in the beautiful location of the Roseland Peninsula. Mallet’s cottage is a mysterious abandoned hut along the south west coastal path where many walkers, hikers and runners enjoy a sit down and view across into the english channel. Mallet’s cottage, an old fishermans hut has also stood the test of time, standing tall since the 19th century and as you can imagine has seen many stormy days.
