Truro is the only city in Cornwall, its Cathedral towering above the skyline with its green spire and gothic aesthetic. The Cathedral was built at the start of the 1900s 250 feet in the sky with great big Victorian stained glass windows and the south aisle is one of the finest pieces of medieval architecture in Cornwall. Originally a market town and port way back over 800 years and boomed with the rest of Cornwall during the tin mining era.
Portscatho Beach is located in South East Cornwall and situated on the Roseland Peninsula. This beach is mainly rocky with lots of rock pools at low tides and uncovers a small sandy patch which does stretch along the bay as far as Porthcurnick Beach. Portscatho Beach faces east which allows it to be sheltered from winds. Nearby there are many facilities just in the shop which includes, pubs, restaurants, cafes, toilets and many more. Portscatho was once a booming fishing port but has since dwindled since the 1700s, this beach was a perfect port for fleets.
Song of the Sea Cave is located in West Cornwall situated near Sennen Cove. This is one of Cornwalls hidden gems nestled in far west more remote than most places you would visit in Cornwall.
