Sennen is located in West Cornwall, surrounded by a beautiful coastline, and has arguably one of the best beaches in Cornwall. Sennen is still a small village to date but has everything you need to enjoy a day out, around the village it’s full of local independent stores which are supported by the locals during downtime in the winter.
Polly Joke Beach is or often referred to as Porth Joke is situated between Crantock and Holywell Bay, often overlooked this unspoilt golden sandy beach can be a getaway from the crowds despite being so close to Newquay. The narrow beach is deeper than it is wide and backs onto a shallow valley with a stream running down through it. Low tide here is enough sand to comfortably sit down on even during busy periods. Access to Polly Joke is very limited, with a small car park being a bit of a distance away.
St Levans Well is located in West Cornwall near the beautiful beaches of Porthcurno beach and Pedn Vounder beach the two top rated best beaches in Cornwall. St Levans Well is a mysterious well along the south west coastal path where many walkers, hikers and runners enjoy a sit down and view across or down to Porthchapel beach and sometimes you’ll spot the local sea kayaking club.
